GETTING STARTED
SecurePyro UK is a professional wireless firework firing system designed for safe, reliable, and flexible control of pyrotechnics and special effects. Using advanced VPyro modules connected through our SecurePyro mobile app, operators can plan, test, and fire cues directly from their smartphone or tablet. The system is ideal for professional fireworks displays, wedding fireworks, and large-scale pyromusicals, giving precise control over timing and safety through 3-Stage Technology™ ARM, real-time igniter testing, and a robust Mesh network connection between modules.
HARDWARE AND SETUP
SecurePyro UK offers a professional range of firing modules, including VPyro – 5-cue, XPyro 10-cue – due for release in 2026, and 20-cue configurations in the design stages, along with igniters, receivers, battery packs, and accessories. Each module is engineered with a rugged, splash-resistant case, heavy-duty connectors, and built-in self-testing features for reliability in all weather conditions. Full specifications and pricing can be found in the SecurePyro UK 2025 Catalogue.
VPyro modules use a 12.6 V lithium-ion battery pack offering up to 5 hours of continuous operation on a full charge. XPyro modules will allow up to 13 hours of use on a full charge. To charge, connect the supplied charger to the charge port until the indicator light turns green. Always charge batteries before each event and avoid storing units in extreme temperatures to maintain optimal performance.
Yes — each unit is designed for outdoor professional use. The rugged splashproof casing protects against light rain, humidity, and dust. For heavy weather conditions, position modules under minimal cover where possible. All connectors and ports are sealed to prevent moisture ingress.
Yes. Using SecurePyro’s MESH Technology, you can link up to 10 modules to one smartphone or tablet, allowing multi-position firing zones and synchronised displays. Modules automatically assign a unique ID and can be grouped or fired individually within the app.
In the SecurePyro App, use the Igniter Test function to perform a safe continuity check. This sends a low-voltage current through each cue, confirming igniter connection without initiating a fire. Cues that pass the test will be marked as active (typically shown in green). Always test every cue before arming the system to ensure safety.
